Their achievements were instrumental in Suzuki Philippines’ solid 2025 performance, where the company recorded 21,984 units sold, marking an 8% growth year-on-year, and maintaining its Top 3 position in CAMPI rankings.
The recognition of these top-performing groups set the tone for the evening highlight of the 2026 Suzuki Dealer Conference, held at Solaire Resort Entertainment City, and themed “Tagumpay.” The event gathered dealer principals, partners, bank partners, and company leaders in a celebration of shared accomplishments and a renewed commitment to future growth.
In his keynote message, SPH President Koichiro Hirao emphasized that Suzuki’s success is built on the strength and alignment of its dealer network. He noted that as the market becomes more competitive and customer expectations continue to evolve, growth will require a more disciplined and focused approach—one that goes beyond traditional methods and embraces adaptability, strategic execution, and long-term thinking.
Automobile Division Director and General Manager Norihide Takei reinforced this direction by highlighting the importance of “smarter volume,” stressing that success today is not defined by scale alone, but by the ability of dealerships to operate efficiently, respond quickly to market needs, and deliver meaningful customer experiences. He emphasized that dealers remain at the forefront of the business, transforming opportunities into sales and building lasting relationships with customers.
Suzuki Philippines also reaffirmed its long-term commitment to growth through continued investments in infrastructure and operational capability. Managing Director Norminio Mojica shared updates on key developments, including the expansion of the company’s Pre-Delivery Inspection facility and the development of a new integrated parts warehouse and training center. These initiatives are designed to strengthen operational efficiency and support the growing demands of both the network and customers.
Beyond sales, the conference underscored the importance of aftersales excellence in sustaining customer trust and brand loyalty. Yukio Sato, General Manager for After Sales and Marine Division, emphasized that while a sale marks the beginning of the customer journey, it is the quality, reliability, and consistency of aftersales service that ultimately define long-term success.
Earlier in the
day, Suzuki Philippines also staged its first-ever Suzuki Dealer Summit,
bringing together dealer principals for a series of insightful sessions led by
respected thought leaders. The summit opened with Rafael Alfonso Manalili,
Economist and Assistant Vice President at the Bank of the Philippine Islands,
who shared his analysis on macroeconomic trends and their impact on financial
markets and business decision-making, helping dealers better understand the
broader economic landscape and its implications on their operations. This was
followed by Carlo Ople, Founder of Unbox and CEO of the Unbox Group, who
provided valuable perspectives on digital ecosystems and how online interest
can be effectively converted into real business results. Closing the summit was
Francis J. Kong, one of the country’s most respected business speakers,
who delivered an inspiring talk on leadership and customer experience,
emphasizing that true service excellence is rooted in culture, mindset, and
daily execution within the organization.
