Suzuki Auto Taytay is equipped with a built-in café and a kiddie corner for better customer experience. Manila, Philippines. May 8, 2018 – Pioneer compact car distributor Suzuki Philippines (SPH) continues to strengthen its foothold in the country with the inauguration of Suzuki Auto Taytay in Eastern Luzon. Initially a 1S satellite showroom in SM Taytay handling only sales, the new 3S dealership now serves as a one-stop shop that also offers spare parts and service. The opening of Suzuki Auto Taytay comes on the heels of a successful first quarter for the company, which posted the highest year-to-date vehicle sales increase in the entire local automotive industry. Shuzo Hoshikura, SPH vice president and general manager for Automobile, has only positive outlook for the company for the months ahead. “We at Suzuki Philippines are grateful for the continued success we have been reaping these past years. All these are because of the constant support of our beloved customers and partners. As said before, SPH will be more assertive in reinforcing our market presence, especially outside Metro Manila, to reach more Filipino motorists across the Philippines. We will continue to exhaust all strategies and resources to be able to deliver to our valued customers only the best-quality products and services,” shared Hoshikura. Suzuki Philippines concludes Q1 2018 with solid growth

Successful back-to-back marketing efforts position Suzuki Philippines higher on sales charts  MANILA, Philippines. April 25, 2018 – Suzuki Philippines (SPH), the country’s pioneer compact car distributor, finishes the first quarter of the year with flying colors, posting the highest year-to-date (YTD) vehicle sales increase in the entire local automotive industry. Achieving 21.4 percent YTD sales growth in March, SPH strengthens its presence in the market and sets its sight on continued uptick in the months to come. It hopes to continue moving up the industry sales charts after taking the top 6 position in local automobile sales, a step up from its seventh rank in the first quarter of 2017. The initial phase implementation of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law slowed down the auto industry in recent months, with sales in nearly all auto categories declining. Suzuki Philippines cushioned itself from the negative impact by strategically deciding to keep its 2017 price list for a certain period in Q1. This buoyed up company sales further, with Q1 sales growth double that of the entire local auto industry. “We were prudent with our marketing efforts for the first quarter of the year because we anticipated developments in the business landscape as a result partly of the TRAIN Law and of course other factors,” shared SPH Vice President and Automobile Division General Manager Shuzo Hoshikura. “The Suzuki brand has been consistently driving forward, strengthening its market footprint nationwide. It would be a step back to not take advantage of all opportunities to resonate better with our key stakeholders, in particular reflect the resiliency of the Filipino people.” Ertiga, Celerio and Vitara: Still market favorites The consistently strong performance of the company’s top-selling vehicles in recent months, particularly the Ertiga, Celerio and Vitara models, contributed largely to the robust increase in sales for the first quarter. The three award-winning models combined accounted for 58 percent of the auto brand’s sales for the period. The well-loved family vehicle Ertiga continues to be the best-selling Suzuki vehicle with 33 percent share of sales. The Ertiga delivers utility, power and cost efficiency, perfect for Filipinos looking for a vehicle that offers top-tier functionality. The 7-seater vehicle is designed to provide comfort with maximized accommodation capacity. Celerio, the Best Value-for-Money awardee in the standard mini category in last year’s Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards (AFMCA), ranks second in terms of Suzuki sales with a 13 percent share. The hatchback features a 1-liter engine and a light compact design, delivering power and efficiency for a fun and versatile drive. With a 12 percent sales share, the recently launched Vitara, becomes a Suzuki best-seller. The 2017 CAGI Car of the Year awardee under the Subcompact Crossover Category boasts strong personalization features in its stylish design. Delivering enhanced driving and safety, the new-generation subcompact SUV makes city driving more enjoyable for Filipino riders. Continued marketing efforts bolster Suzuki’s influence Targeted and effective brand-building efforts, specifically expansion and network building initiatives, contribute to strengthening the Suzuki brand’s foothold in the country. Dealership openings in key growth areas such as Isabela -- and soon in Rizal and Batangas --  widen the company’s reach, enabling it to serve more Filipinos while increasing brand visibility. Hoshikura expressed his gratitude to the Filipino market for the warm support received by the brand in the Philippines. “The active support we get from the local market inspires us to pursue our goal of sharing with more people the Suzuki Way of Life. The most we can do to return the warm market response is to deliver on the promise of providing Filipinos with only the best-value vehicles and services. We are truly grateful for all these opportunities that the Philippine auto industry continues to give us,” said Hoshikura. Earlier this month, Suzuki Philippines participated for the first time at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2018, cementing the brand’s presence and competence in the market. Best-selling and award-winning Suzuki models such as the Vitara, Ciaz and Ertiga were displayed during the 4-day event. To celebrate the inaugural participation of Suzuki in MIAS, the soon-to-launch all-new Dzire with Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology upgrade was also put on display. Suzuki Philippines expands further in the north with new 3S dealership in Isabela

Suzuki Philippines (SPH), the pioneer compact car distributor in the country, continues to expand its market footprint outside Metro Manila with the opening of a new 3S dealership in Santiago City, Isabela. The new Suzuki Auto Isabela is the most recent 3S automobile dealership to open. Strategically located along the National Hi-way of Barangay Batal in Santiago City, the heart of Isabela, the new dealership is easily accessible to motorists, which then allows Suzuki to assist and accommodate more customers. "We have high hopes and expectations for Suzuki Auto Isabela. The location — Santiago City — is the commercial and trading center of the north, which makes it very strategic with strong growth potential. The area is a hotspot for investors and is home to numerous businesses. With the robust growth of Isabela's economy, the new dealership is undoubtedly in the perfect location to reach more Filipinos, with whom we can share the Suzuki Way of Life," said Shuzo Hoshikura, vice president and general manager of SPH Automobile. Following the 34 percent sales growth that Suzuki Philippines achieved last year, the company continues to pursue nationwide expansion efforts to further strengthen its foothold in key growth areas. The opening of the Suzuki Auto Isabela brings the total SPH automobile dealership count across the country to 67, translating to an even wider network and more opportunities for the brand to reach an even wider audience. Suzuki Auto Isabela is owned and managed by Elite North Autocars, Inc., which took over the dealership in November last year. Alejandrino Alexis P. San Juan, president of Elite North and Suzuki Auto Isabela, shared, "It has truly been an honor for us to be given the opportunity to partner with Suzuki Philippines. We are very thankful that SPH addresses all of our concerns and extends their support to our dealership outlet." Hoshikura has only positive outlook for SPH: "We are very grateful for the continued patronage and support of the Filipinos to Suzuki Philippines. They have been our motivation in improving our products and services and achieving more milestones. With this recent accomplishment of inaugurating a new dealership in Isabela, we reaffirm our promise to provide more Filipinos in and out of Metro Manila with only the best products and services. We will continue to widen our reach all over the country to serve more Filipinos." Suzuki Auto Isabela will serve as a dedicated one-stop-shop that offers full auto services to Isabela motorists. It also offers the wide range of Suzuki vehicles, including the best-sellers, the popular life utility vehicle (LUV) Ertiga and all-time favorite hatchbacks Celerio and Swift. The well-loved subcompact sedan Ciaz and the recently launched Suzuki Vitara will also be available in the new dealership. Suzuki Philippines joins the Manila International Auto Show 2018

Suzuki Philippines (SPH), the country's pioneer compact car distributor, marks a new milestone as it joins the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) for the first time last April 5 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. MIAS, the country's biggest annual motoring event, serves as an avenue for showcasing the latest automotive, bicycle, rickshaw and spare parts from various brands. The show is known for hosting exhibits, activities and product reveals of the local auto industry's leading players. According to SPH Vice President and General Manager for Automobile Shuzo Hoshikura, the four-day event opens opportunities for SPH to further its goal of strengthening the brand's foothold in the country. "We want to build on the momentum we achieved early this year. While our expansion and sales efforts prove to be effective, we remain active in looking for platforms that can help us broaden the reach of the Suzuki brand in the country, and joining MIAS showed promising potential to fulfil that objective," shared Hoshikura. To celebrate SPH's inaugural participation in MIAS, the brand displayed its award-winning and best-selling vehicles such as the all-new Vitara, 2017 CAGI Car of the Year awardee under the Subcompact Crossover Category; Ciaz, Best Fuel Economy Rate awardee of the DOE Eco Run 2017 and Best Personal Commuter awardee of the 12th C! Magazine Awards; and Ertiga, Suzuki's popular life utility vehicle. The Suzuki Hayabusa from the Motorcycle Division and Suzuki outboards from the Marine Division were also showcased to present the brand's other product lines. SPH also provided a preview of the soon-to-launch Suzuki Dzire with Auto Gear Shift technology upgrade. Designed to deliver better engine performance and smoother driving, the enhanced sedan enables versatility through the combined fuel efficiency of manual gearbox and convenience of automatic transmission. It also sports an elegant look that's perfect for millennials and Gen Z. "It would be a waste if we did not seize the chance for the public to witness the newest in our product lineup. Although the official launch is still later this year, we opted to display the new Suzuki Dzire to show everyone that we indeed stay true to the promise of bringing the latest of our technological innovations to the Filipino people," added Hoshikura. Ertiga influencer Kelly Misa and Vitara influencer Mikael Daez were present during SPH's program on the first day of the show. They were joined by the Suzuki Safety Scouts, the kiddie ambassadors of the Suzuki brand, who invited other young attendees to be part of their troop that promotes Suzuki's road safety advocacy. Hoshikura emphasized that beyond extending to the Filipino market its latest product upgrades and quality service, Suzuki is committed to the duty of contributing to achieving a safe and secure environment for everyone. "The customers have always been at the core of all our pursuits. Fueling our passion of providing only the best-value vehicles is the vision of creating a responsible driving community because a good lifestyle is not just about style but also, and more importantly, life or quality of life, and such is the Suzuki Way of Life," said Hoshikura. SUZUKI MOTOR CORPORATION TO HEADLINE THE 2018 AFF FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP AS TITLE SPONSOR

Suzuki Motor Corporation will be the title sponsor of the Asean Football Federation Championship once again, paving the way for another exciting edition of the region's biggest and most-passionately supported football tournament in 2018. This will mark the sixth successive occasion Suzuki Motor Corporation has backed the AFF's flagship competition – the AFF Suzuki Cup – since 2008. First played in 1996, the biennial tournament is contested by the national teams of Southeast Asia and boasts record TV ratings and sold-out stadia. “We began our sponsorship as the title sponsor in 2008 with the passion to bring thrill and excitement to the ASEAN region,” said Kinji Saito, Managing Officer from Suzuki Motor Corporation. “Since then, together with fans and championship staff, the AFF SUZUKI CUP has created sensational moments and unforgettable memories, which embody Suzuki’s corporate slogan “Way of Life!” The 2018 championship will mark the 10th year anniversary of our sponsorship, and with new changes to the tournament format, it will surely be as remarkable and exciting as ever, and will mark a new chapter in the history of the AFF SUZUKI CUP.” During the 2016 games, when Myanmar and the Philippines hosted the Group Stages for the first time, Thailand triumphed for a record fifth. “This year will be the 12th time we have staged the AFF Football Championship and we are truly grateful to Suzuki Motor Corporation for embracing the region’s top footballing tournament as the title sponsor once again,” said Lt Gen Dato’ Sri Azzuddin Ahmad (Retired), General Secretary of AFF. “It is incredible how quickly time has flown since the inaugural tournament was staged in Singapore in 1996. Not only has the tournament grown from strength to strength, it has created opportunities to groom football talent in the region and is today the most important regional stage for local teams to take the next step up.” Importantly, Suzuki’s renewal comes at a time when the tournament will see some exciting new changes to its format, aimed at providing more exposure to the players in their home country and driving greater fan engagement. Starting this year, the Qualification Round will see the two lowest-ranked ASEAN teams playing off against each other, with the winner joining the top nine ranked countries in the Group Stage. Each Group will comprise five teams, with each team playing two matches at home and two matches outside. The Semi-Finals and Finals format will remain home-and-away matches played over two-legs. This means throughout the course of the tournament, there will be more home matches held in every participating country, which will further enhance established rivalries. “These are exciting times for the AFF Football Championship with Suzuki Motor Corporation extending its legacy as title sponsor and putting its weight behind an invigorated tournament,” said Tom Smith, President, Football – Asia at Lagardère Sports. “We deeply appreciate Suzuki’s unwavering support, and our team looks forward to delivering the most impactful event in the history of the competition.” Suzuki Philippines recalls the honor of hosting the Group Stages in 2016; “It was a great privilege and a humbling experience to be one of the hosts in the 2016 Suzuki Cup and witness first-hand how the region’s biggest tournament brings different people together and share a common experience. Indeed, it was a way of sharing to people what the Suzuki Way of Life is all about. We have only excitement for the 2018 Suzuki Cup.” About the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) The ASEAN Football Federation comprises 12 Member Associations. Suzuki PH closes 2017 with strong sales growth, awards

Pioneer compact car distributor Suzuki Philippines (SPH) ends the year remarkably, posting 34 percent year-on-year (YOY) growth, expanding in key cities across the country and receiving back-to-back recognitions from renowned award-giving bodies. The strong performance of several of the company’s best-selling vehicles fueled the continued sales growth. The popular life utility vehicle (LUV) Ertiga was SPH’s chart-topping vehicle last year, contributing the biggest to sales with a 34 percent share. The all-time favorite hatchbacks Celerio and Swift followed, contributing 15 percent and 13 percent, respectively.    Continued expansion initiatives brought the total number of dealerships opened last year to 11. Suzuki now has 66 dealership outlets across the country. Strategic brand-building efforts throughout the year also enabled the company to increase awareness about the different vehicles and their respective features. These brand-building projects include SPH’s influencer marketing campaign and sustained efforts such as those for the company’s car clubs, Team Suzuki Philippines (TSP). Before closing the year, Suzuki successfully launched the highly anticipated new Vitara. Known for enhanced driving performance, this new-generation subcompact SUV incorporates modern elements with strong personalization features to make city driving even more enjoyable for Filipino drivers, specifically millennials. This was proven in a successful media drive that showcased the new Vitara’s top-of-the-line driving and safety features and stylish design. Recognitions from several award-giving bodies affirmed SPH’s efforts to offer only innovative and reliable vehicles. Seven of the company’s popular, well-loved vehicles won accolades in the annual DOE Fuel Economy Run, 2017–2018 Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards (AFMCA), Car Awards Group, Inc.’s Car of the Year (COTY) awards and the 12th C! Magazine Awards. Stronger foothold in the PH market                              The significant growth in sales, continuous market expansion, and successive awards and accolades prove Suzuki Philippines’ stronger foothold in the PH automotive market. The Celerio, one of Suzuki Philippine’s best-selling hatchbacks, bagged the Best Value-for-Money award in the standard mini category in last year’s Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards (AFMCA). The AFMCA aims to recognize the efforts of the automobile industry to provide best on-board features, style, performance and overall value. The Suzuki Vitara GLX won in the recently concluded 2017 CAGI Car of the Year awards under the Subcompact Crossover Category. The Ciaz was named Best Personal Commuter in the 12th C! Magazine awards for its fuel efficiency, roomy interiors and enhanced driving experience. In the 13th DOE Fuel Economy Run organized by the Department of Energy (DOE) in partnership with Petron Corporation, Suzuki Philippines’ entries—hatchbacks Alto 800 M/T and Swift M/T, Euro-4 equipped light commercial vehicle Super Carry and the recently launched subcompact SUV Suzuki Vitara GLX A/T—were recognized in their respective categories. The Alto 800 M/T and Swift M/T placed fourth and sixth, respectively, in the gasoline category with fuel economy ratings of 24.81km/L and 23.27km/L. The all-new Vitara was the second subcompact SUV to enter the top 15 gasoline-powered vehicles with a 20.57km/L fuel economy rating.  In the diesel category, the Super Carry performed well among the pickups and placed second with a fuel economy rating of 19.19km/L. The 2017 event, which ran by the theme “E-Power Mo” from November 20 to 21 in Clark, Pampanga, identifies fuel efficiency ratings for cars recently sold and made available in the Philippines. It aims to encourage car manufacturers and distributors to bring in more fuel-efficient vehicles in line with the common goal of environment conservation and wiser use of energy. Continued growth in 2018 Backed by its strong performance in 2017, Suzuki Philippines is confident of sustaining market momentum this year.
